This WII game is a clone of the motion picture Surf’s up. It is quite a descent game revolving around surf-boarding.


In playing this game, you'll be dealing with different characters. To name a few, these include Cody, Bug Z, Chicken and Joe, the same set of characters found in the movie. Each character is equipped with a unique surfing ability in terms of speed and freestyle. Such capability is affected by your choice of a surf board given a surf board choice list.

As you become familiar with this game and reach a higher playing level, you'll encounter more characters and boards.  Moreover, you can have a wider selection set of songs for your music tracklist.  The background music while surfing definitely adds up to the excitement of the game.

The graphics used appropriately depict the characters of the game and the setting with those nice looking background and impressive environmental effects. Various surfing setting sets are available as you move on in playing the game. Thus allowing you to surf in a unique environment setting each time you move to another level.

Surf’s Up offers quite a few good features in its sleeves . However, its drawback is along its inconsistent controls which impede in turning this game into a great game. If you are a huge fun of surfing, this game is worth a try and worth the investment. For normal users who thrive for great games, renting out a copy seems to be a better option than investing for one. At the beginning, this is definitely an enjoyable game especially for children who love nature setting kind of game.
